| City Council Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month.
All meetings begin at 8 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall and are broadcast live on the City government channel (Comcast Channel 71 and Verizon Channel 10). The meetings are rebroadcast on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and may be viewed from this website.
In general, there are two times during a Regular Meeting when the public may make comments:
1. Citizen Participation
During Citizen Participation at the beginning of the meeting, the public may speak about any topic relating to Bowie. The time limit is five minutes.
2. During Public Hearings
The public is encouraged to offer comments on a particular issue being voted upon by the Council during the Public Hearing portion of Regular Meetings.
